Click Here for the Latest GeoSystems News!  Principals Since GeoSystems Consultants, Inc. was founded  in 1993, principals Craig R. Calabria, Ph.D., P.E., Ram D. Singh, Ph.D., P.E., and Arthur H. Dvinoff, Ph.D., P.E., and their staff strive to bring quality consultative and laboratory testing services to their clients in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. They provide these services to architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and other public and private sector clients.  Experience Each of the principals of GeoSystems has extensive personal experience in geotechnical engineering and testing. Further, these individuals have as much as 30 years of experience working together on numerous projects in the Philadelphia Metropolitan region, the Mid-Atlantic States, and beyond.  Facilities GeoSystems maintains its professional offices and a fully equipped, modern testing laboratory in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The laboratory has the capability of testing soil, rock and geosynthetics. An important innovation in permeability testing of clay liner samples allows rapid turn-around time of test results. This provides an invaluable advantage for determining the regulatory acceptability of soil liner systems.  Affiliations & Accreditations GeoSystems is an active member of the Geosynthetic Accreditation Institute (GAI). Geosynthetics are increasingly being used, especially in landfills, and new materials are continually entering the marketplace. GAI membership provides GeoSystems with unique capabilities in the use of geosynthetics. GeoSystems is also an active member of the Consulting Engineers Council of Pennsylvania (CECPA) and the Delaware Valley Geo-Institute (DVGI). Our soils laboratory is accredited by AASHTO and affiliated with the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
